July - Larkspur and Delphinium

Our July embroidery design features the flowers associated with this month; Larkspur and Delphinium. (The actual second flower associated with July is the waterlily but I loved the blue delphiniums so much they took over this design!) Larkspur is symbolic of sweet natured spirit and strong bonds of love. The Delphinium is another flower where the meaning can change depending upon the chosen color of the flower. For example, blue represents dignity and grace, while yellow represents joy and positivity.

These beautiful luxurious linen embroidery panels are printed in full colour so there's no need to transfer any pattern, you can get stitching straight away! The design is approx 5 inch x 7 inch within a 10 inch piece of linen. You can embroider in any colour palette that you choose, or choose one of our thread packs. The stand alone panels are created for you to explore your creativity and to embroider as much or as little as you dare! You can get carried away and embroider the whole image or simply highlight some areas, there are no set rules, just enjoy some mindful stitching time for yourself.
