June - Rose and Honeysuckle

Our June embroidery design features the flowers associated with this month; Roses and Honeysuckle. Roses are synonymous with love, beauty and passion, while white, yellow and pink roses can have slightly different interpretations. Honeysuckle symbolizes good fortune and nostalgia. It has been said that during Victorian times, young girls were banned from bringing honeysuckle into the house because it was believed the strong smell would make them have suggestive dreams!

These beautiful luxurious linen embroidery panels are printed in full colour so there's no need to transfer any pattern, you can get stitching straight away! The design is approx 5 inch x 7 inch within a 10 inch piece of linen. You can embroider in any colour palette that you choose, or choose one of our thread packs.
