100% pure silk is used as the base thread; this "Soie de Paris" is imported from France from beloved Au Ver A Soie. 

Hand-dyed and gently-shaded in South Africa by Chameleon Threads. 

It's a 6-stranded silk with a wonderful sheen and lustrous qualities. 5m skeins.

One strand can be used for embroiderers who love very fine work.
