Inspiration:
The forget-me-not collection is inspired by designer Hannah Burbury's late Grandmother, Camille, who she sadly lost to dementia. The collection initially started with five forget-me-not designs: Camille, Rosita, Mary, Beatrice and Philomena. Camille is Hannah's Grandmother’s first name, Rosita and Mary are her middle names. Beatrice is named after Hannah's great-Grandmother and Philomena is named after Hannah's great-great-Grandmother.
The most recent addition to the forget-me-not collection is named after Hannah's great-great-Grandfather Francis.
This listing is for the Francis hoop which is made up of a pretty wreath design full of tiny forget-me-not flowers. The stitches included in the Francis hoop are stem stitch, satin stitch, French knot and blanket stitch.
Instructions:
The kit includes a project workbook with a step-by-step photo guide in hand embroidering and making the hanging heart, a hand embroidery stitch guide and a thread colour and stitch guide. This is a suitable project for beginners and experienced stitchers.
