Many years of experience and work on the design and execution of projects led me to publishVolume 8, Stelle e bordure a reticello (Stars and Borders in Reticello), again in album format (with 72 pages) and in three languages, to continue the theme of accessible reticello. After an introduction in which I explain where the "stars" in the title come from, I analyse - with much attention to the various steps - the structure and motifs (all different) of the ten stars and the borders which make up the runners featured in the first section of the book.
Diagrams, drawings and scans provide the ideal counterpart to my descriptions, which are accompanied, as always, by the School of Stitches and - in the final section - variations of the stars in different colours and on different fabrics, embroidered by different students.
